Good clean muddy fun!
The Burnet High School cross country teams participated in the Floyd Farms Invitational on Friday. A slight chance of rain was predicted for the morning of the races, but what followed was a downpour that added to the challenge and the fun. The varsity and JV boys combined their efforts to earn first-place team finishes. Pictured here, several Burnet runners gather for lunch after the races in their rain-soaked tent. A Week Full of Exciting Play for the Dawgs and Lady Dawgs
It was another busy week in the sports world. Marisa Porter was celebrated for 1,000 career assists and 500 on her sophomore season. The Lady Dawg volleyball teams hosted Fredericksburg on Tuesday.
